Well, I made it back from Lake Billy Chinook unscathed. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it. There’s camping, boating, fishing … you know, lake stuff. And during that time, the Blazers clinched their playoff berth in this year’s NBA Playoffs so that’s got me bouncin’ off the walls. If you were around the Portland area in 2000, you understand fully the rivalry we have with the Lakers and why it’s crucial that we beat them in Round 1! But I digress … 🖤❤️
Apparently, everyone was a huge fan of Dirty Dancing 💃 and Grease 🕺 because the 99W Drive-In is showing both movies again this weekend. There are also some drive-in concerts as well as a 21+ OMSI Star Night event that sounds pretty fun. And of course, outdoor skating at Oaks Park! Somehow I missed that earlier this month but it’s not too late. For an ultimate day of fun, you could hit the skate rink in the afternoon and then catch a movie at the Rose City Rollers Cinema Under the Stars. Plenty to do and it’s beautiful out there!
